David Hopkins is an American classical saxophonist, composer, audio engineer, renewable energy enthusiast, and private virtual educator based in Los Angeles County, California. David’s goal is not only to help others discover their passion in music, but to help others discover themselves through the expressivity and meaningfulness associated with one’s work. David has had extensive playing experience through the years in wind ensembles, jazz ensembles, quartets, duets, and various other forms of chamber music. That in addition to his strong background of solo works has given him an outstanding portfolio as an undergraduate college graduate. David has also had much experience in the music technology realm as a long-time member of the tech ensemble at WCU. During his time in this ensemble setting, he has designed, engineered, constructed, composed for, and performed 3 unique electro acoustical instruments that have never been seen before.
